*ITEM: SWORD Half Moon Marked Antique Possibly Early 1800's

*YEAR: I sent pictures to Sotheby's many years ago and they wrote me back and said it was manufactured in the 1800's and was a reproduction of a 16th or 17th century sword.

*MATERIAL: Cast Iron

*MEASURES: Overall approx. 38 1/4" long, 32" blade, 6" long handle

*CONDITION: Lots of black tarnish with age and use wear.

*FEATURES: Ornate hilt.
